In the hit BBC show The Watch An Enticing Invitation OnlineBodyguard, Richard Madden made everyone want to secure a high level government position for the sole purpose of getting their very own bodyguard.
And now, Madden is bringing a lot of that smouldering David Budd energy to his cover of British GQ, for the January/February 2019 issue.

But first, let's take a look at that cover.
Inside the issue, Madden opens up about how physically and mentally demanding the role of Budd, a former soldier with PTSD, onBodyguard was for him.
"I finished Bodyguardand didn't want to act again," Madden told GQ. "It had taken so much out of me physically, mentally and personally [...] You didn't get a day off. My character doesn't get a second off. It took more out of me than anything else I've done."
While channelling some serious James Bond energy in his photoshoot (the tuxedo, the old-timey car), Madden insists in the interview that he's not seriously up for the role of 007.
"Everyone just loves the rumour mill on that topic," Madden told GQ. "I'm just the current one. There'll be a different one next week. But still, I say: nice to be mentioned all the same."
Honestly, with that that jawline you don't even need a license to kill.
