An East London dry-cleaners witnessed this unusual feline fact first-hand when, to its employees' surprise, the desperate meows of four newborn kittens were heard coming from an unexpected -- albeit dark and quiet -- place.
The Forest Gate shop called in the Celia Hammond Animal Trust to retrieve the itty-bitty kitties from behind one of its tumble dryers, where the kittens were apparently born.

Th head of the cat charity, Celia Hammond, is quoted in a BBC article as saying the kittens "needed some intensive care," but were now recovering in a foster home after being reunited with their mother.
