Trevor Noah has a surprise in store for Trump.

On Thursday,Adultery Alumni Association (2018) Aug. 27, timed to coincide with the president's Republican nomination acceptance speech, The Daily Showhas taken out full-page print ads in the New York Times, the Washington Postand the Los Angeles Times, all of which feature a mock legal advertisement for "Trevor Noah & Associates & Sons Presidential Attorneys."

The text?

"ARE YOU A SOON-TO-BE EX-PRESIDENT? ABOUT TO LOSE LEGAL IMMUNITY? HAS YOUR LAWYER GONE TO JAIL? Call the very fine people on YOUR side."

The ad comes with a phone number which, according to a press release sent to Mashable, actually does work and features a pre-recorded message from the team.

Obstruction of justice with the same price for multiple counts? Now thatsounds like a deal.

We called the number and here's a recording and transcript of Noah's message. If you press one, indicating that you are indeed the president, you'll get this particular message:

"Hello, Mr. President. I'm Trevor Noah, managing partner of Trevor Noah and Associates and Sons. Have you ever been to Uganda, sir? It's a beautiful country with a strong goat-based economy. And most important, it does not extradite to the United States. At any time on or before January 20th 2021, I can transport you and any members of your family you actually like to Uganda. I can provide the service for, I don't know, $10 million. Let me know. Oh, and if you made a mistake, and you're not actually the president, press or say two now. Otherwise, goodbye, Mr. President."

Pressing two results in the following PSA — yes, it's a covert way to get people registered to vote:

"Congratulations on not being the president! If you do not need a lawyer specialising in president crime, why not visit votevotevote.com to make sure that you've registered to vote in the election? That's right. This is a public service announcement. Gotcha! Anyway, please check your voter registration and make a plan to vote. Goodbye."

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time The Daily Showhas pulled a stunt like this, either. The show placed another ad in the Washington Postlast December, along with an actual billboard in Times Square, trolling Trump after his impeachment by the House.

It's a fitting jab at the president, too, given that he's been criticised in the past for taking out full-page advertisements in New York newspapers calling for much more serious, sinister, and outright racist action.
