Users can now share what they’re listening to on Spotify directly into Instagram Notes. This echoes the golden era of MySpace profiles, when your favorite song was a key part of your online identity. How to stream Spotify music to your Instagram Notes

What You Need

• Smartphone
• Instagram app
• Spotify app

Step 1: Link your Spotify account to your Instagram, if you haven't already

Step 2: Head to your DM inbox on Instagram

Step 3: Tap on the 🎵 when creating a Note

Step 4: In the audio browser, tap to "Share from Spotify"

If you are already playing music on Spotify, your Note will automatically update to show what you’re listening to. If you’re not actively listening to music on Spotify, your Note will automatically show the next song you play within 30 minutes.

Step 5: Choose whether or not you add text or emoji to your Note

Step 6: Tap "share" to post your Note!

In a feed where algorithm-driven trends can make everything start to look the same, these new tools are a reminder that individuality still matters.
