A recent resurgence of sexual misconduct allegations against Ryan Seacrest has stars like Jennifer Lawrence thinking twice about whether they want to appear alongside the E! host on eroticism in the middle eastthe red carpet.
During an interview on The Howard Stern Show Wednesday, Lawrence said that she didn't know whether she would avoid talking to Seacrest on the red carpet before the Oscars on Sunday, People reported. Seacrest, who typically hosts E!'s red carpet coverage, was accused of sexual harassment by his ex-stylist in November with more shocking details coming out earlier this week.

After being told about the allegations, including Seacrest's denial, Lawrence said she couldn't imagine him being "sexual" in that way.
Despite that, Lawrence said she hasn't made up her mind whether she would avoid talking to Seacrest on the red carpet because she is "not a judge. I am not a jury." Part of that indecision comes from Lawrence's feelings about E! itself, too.
"I mean, there is a lot to think about with E!, you know? " Lawrence said. "I have always had a problem with the Fashion Police. I don’t have a problem with talking about what women are wearing. There was a time they were… they were just mean about people’s bodies, things you shouldn’t say."
E!, which as of this writing is still planning on having Seacrest host its coverage on Sunday, has been called out in the past for paying its female talent less than its male talent.
Lawrence referenced former E! host Catt Sadler who quit over the huge pay disparity between herself and her male co-host, noting that E! hasn't brought in another female co-host long-term to replace Sadler.
"I have noticed that they keep cycling these women and I am going… is that so you don’t have to pay another woman equally to Jason [Kennedy]?" she said. "Is this just a way to still maintain that you are not paying women equally?"
The current climate of Hollywood and the #MeToo and Time's Up movements have people being more selective about who they associate with.
If Seacrest does host E!'s red carpet coverage for the Oscars, some publicists in Hollywood will have talent avoid him and either talk to another E! host or avoid E! altogether, NY Postreported Tuesday -- an obvious problem for the network, which typically owns red carpet coverage.
