Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe introduced a new pair of earbuds that connect to the Oculus Rift VR headset called Oculus Earphones at Oculus Connect 3.
They cost $49 and Underwater Loveprovide an audio experience that's as great as $900 earphones, Iribe said. The earbuds ship on Dec. 6.

In addition to the new earbuds, Oculus also announced the Touch controllers, which enable an immersive control experience in VR, will cost $199.
Earlier during the keynote, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg teased out a new standalone Oculus headset that doesn't require a smartphone or a PC.
