Marvel smash Black Panthertook home $1.3 billion at the global box office,andthe top prize at the Golden Trailer Awards.
The trailer titled “Crown,” won Best of Show on Thursday night at the 19th Annual Golden Trailer Awards at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Since 1999, the GTAs have honored the top of the film trailer crop, from blockbusters to independent films, documentaries and everything in between.

Black Panther was the top film winner of the industry event, taking home awards in four categories: the aforementioned Best in Show, along with Best Action, Best Action TV Spot, and Best Music TV Spot — that's four of 17 awards handed out in front of about 1,000 industry folks in LA.
Fox Searchlight's trailer for Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogswon Best Animation, and Greta Gerwig's Lady Birdwon Best Comedy, both by Giaronomo Productions. Best Picture winner The Shape of Watertook out Best Drama, Steven Soderbergh's Unsanetook out Best Thriller, and John Krasinski's A Quiet Placewon Best Horror (honestly, what a trailer).
On the smaller screen, Stranger Thingsand Westworldwon three awards each for their Season 2 trailers, "Darkness," and "Locked Inside," respectively.

Netflix, Warner Bros (HBO, New Line Cinema), and Fox (FX, Fox Searchlight), were big winners, taking home 13 awards each.
