We're less than a month out from Samsung officiallyunveiling its new flagship phones,Horror Archives which naturally means they'll be leaked to oblivion well beforehand.
We've already seen leaked photos and some leaked specs, but a new round of leaks courtesy of Ishan Agarwai and MySmartPrice have blown the doors open on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 line of phones. Behold, an alleged spec sheet for all three phones Samsung is planning on revealing on Feb. 11:
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
There's a lot to unpack here, so let's get started.
If that spec sheet is to be believed, Samsung will be releasing three phones: The Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra. All three will apparently be 5G-capable, per the spec sheet, but it doesn't say which kinds of 5G they'll support.
Moving on, the S20 and S20 Plus appear to be very similar phones with some marginal differences. The regular S20 has a 6.2-inch screen while its bigger sibling sports a large 6.7-inch display. They both have 12MP main and 64MP telephoto cameras alongside 12MP ultra-wide lenses, but the S20 Plus has a time of flight sensor. That's a little gadget that uses infrared light to measure distance and depth for enhanced photography.
You also get 30x digital zoom and 8K/30fps video recording on the back, with 4K/60fps recording from the front. The other functional difference between the two is battery life: The S20 comes with a 4,000mAh battery while the bigger version has 4,500mAh.
Things really get fun with the S20 Ultra. This beefy boy has a 6.9-inch display with a 5,000mAh battery and up to 512GB internal storage, up from the 128GB offered in the other two phones. The main camera on the back is jacked all the way up to 108MP with up to 100x digital zoom. Also, the front camera is a whopping 40MP, easily surpassing the 10MP found in the other two S20 phones.
Last but not least, all three appear to come with 120Hz screens and a fresh installation of Android 10. Naturally, we still don't know how much they cost or when exactly they'll be out, but Samsung will tell us in due time.
Unless those details leak, too.
