Old habits die hard.

Less than 48 hours after promising to bring the country together in a measured victory speech,The Exotic Time Machine President-elect Donald Trump was back to his old ways on Twitter, critiquing protesters and the media all in one swipe.

Thousands of people protested Trump's win Wednesday night, holding marches from New York To Los Angeles. In response, Trump returned to his tone during the campaign, demonizing the media and delegitimizing the activists on Twitter. He even capped it off with one of his favored phrases: "Very unfair!" The comment comes after he broke precedent and refused to have media cover his travels to the White House in his motorcade and on his plane.

The President-elect contradicted his previous tweet early this morning and announced to his Twitter followers that he now loves the "passion" that these "small groups of protesters" have for America. "We will all come together and be proud!" he wrote.

Trump has long used his Twitter account to take shots at opponents, but one would hope the digital mudslinging would cease on his way to the White House. Turns out Trump could only act presidential for so long.
